Guidance Automation

Guidance Automation is the trusted provider of automation solutions for small to medium businesses, providing expertise and support to unlock their automation potential.

We work with our customers to remove the complexity and barriers they perceive. Working in partnership with our customers, we don’t just sell a robot. We interpret our customers’ needs to provide a customised solution that works for them. We provide support for the implementation, ensure ongoing optimisation, allowing for future upgrades and modifications, and provide ongoing servicing and maintenance. We also offer training to support the development of staff, and this training can be tailored to suit our customers’ requirements and aspirations.

In 2022 we became the first reseller of OTTO Motors’ Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) in the United Kingdom. To help businesses tackle labour shortages, minimise repetitive and unproductive tasks, scale up, and outperform the competition, we have added the OTTO 100, 750 and 1500 AMRs to our product portfolio.

Autonomous Mobile Robots can easily be deployed to enhance existing operations and our service ensures minimal disruption to our customers’ business processes, allowing them to see the benefits automation can offer. To enhance the AMRs we offer bespoke top modules and attachments to suit your specific application. The right top or attachment dynamically integrates the AMR into a system to complement existing automation and human operators.

Using our experience, credibility and expertise we deliver tailored, holistic automation solutions including Pick-to-Light and Warehouse Execution & Control Systems.

Our Warehouse Execution & Control Systems integrate interconnected systems to balance work, provide process visibility and boost end-to-end material flow with continuous measurements, holistic system analysis, upcoming workload prediction and more to enhance order flow, accuracy, and speed. Use real-time data and adaptive learning to make intelligent decisions with a completely web-based interface.

Our suite of light-directed material handling applications energizes omnichannel order fulfilment speed, accuracy and efficiency with advanced pick-to-light, put-to-light and put walls, pack-to-light for store replenishment, automated picking carts and other paperless pick automation.

Our knowledge and expertise have been developed over 30 years and our technologies are helping warehouse, distribution, fulfilment, manufacturing and healthcare facilities work smarter. Our experts have been involved in PhD level research and developed the most accurate industrial laser positioning system in the world.

We understand small to medium size businesses’ automation needs and our future lies in unlocking automation potential for all, making it easy to access for everyone. Automation is no longer just for big business – any material handling company can, with our support and expertise, seamlessly create a hybrid workforce that truly is fit for the future.

If you’re an SME and would like to take part in a no obligation, free 3-month trial to discover how automation could transform your business, we’d love to talk to you.

  • "We’ve never seen a show like it! Within six minutes of the inaugural IWLEX (Inside Warehouse & Logistics Exhibition) opening, we had our first inquiry in the bag. The two days in May at the Telford International Centre went on to be the most successful trade show we have attended in terms of deals created at the event itself and immediately afterward."
    Hi-Level Mezzanines Ltd
  • “We thoroughly enjoyed our time at IWLEX. It is a valuable exhibition for companies looking for the highest quality visitors. Visitor numbers may be lower than at other exhibitions, simply because the organisers have done a fantastic job in screening out time-wasters! Everyone who came onto our stand was a motivated buyer and we have had several high-quality leads since the exhibition. We recommend IWLEX to anyone looking for relevant leads within the world of warehousing and logistics. Thank you, Justin and Nairn!”
    NLT Mechanical
  • '' It was a good show and quality is always better than a high number of tyres kickers . We have engaged with two potential customers with live projects that at this point are looking promising hence committing to IWLEX24.''
    Russell Hutchinson
    Business Development Manager - Daifuku
  • "At 51T we are really excited to be part of the inaugural Inside Warehouse Logistics exhibition. Having exhibited at other events we felt it was time for something new, in particular the original idea of having the industry shape the event. We're looking forward to meeting a new group of buyers and becoming part of the new IWLEX community."
    Duncan Dampier
    51T International Accounts Manager
  • "The Safety Knife Company are delighted to be part of the inaugural Inside Warehouse Logistics exhibition. We believe that this energetic new event will be a ‘must attend’ for the industry professionals and attract excellent visitors for us to engage with."
    David Harris
General Manager at The Safety Knife Company
