Warehouse. & Yard. Multimodal, and E-Delivery Join Forces to Create the UK’s Ultimate Logistics Event at the NEC
)
In a move set to transform the UK logistics and supply chain exhibition landscape, Warehouse. (formerly IWLEX) and Yard. (formerly YARDX) will, for the first time, co-locate (in adjacent halls with internal walkthrough) with Multimodal — including the E-Delivery Expo — at the NEC Birmingham in 2026.
This strategic collaboration marks the creation of the UK’s most comprehensive end-to-end supply chain logistics showcase and establishes the destination exhibition for the entire UK logistics ecosystem — from freight forwarding and warehouse automation to yard safety and last-mile fulfilment.
Together, this strategic move forms the UK’s most complete supply chain and logistics exhibition destination.
This is the only place where the entire UK logistics journey comes together — and business gets done.
New Names Reflect a Unified Future
As part of this strategic realignment:
- IWLEX rebrands to Warehouse., aligning directly with its core focus on warehouse innovation, materials handling, intralogistics, and operational excellence.
- YARDX rebrands to Yard., reflecting its unique position as the only platform focused on yard operations, materials handling, outdoor storage, safety, and site flow.
- Multimodal, including the E-Delivery Expo, continues to represent the UK’s leading platform for freight, transport, logistics, and last-mile fulfilment.
- One Destination, Four Integrated Focus Areas
This co-located showcase brings together four synergistic focus areas under one roof:
- Multimodal – Freight, transport, logistics, and last-mile delivery
- Warehouse. – Intralogistics, automation, materials handling, and warehouse operations
- Yard. – Yard safety, materials handling, outdoor storage, and infrastructure
- E-Delivery – (as part of Multimodal) focused on e-commerce and fulfilment technologies
Together, they offer unmatched access to over 15,000 logistics professionals, including 6,000+ cross-sector buyers actively investing across every link in the supply chain.
"This co-location offers our exhibitors unprecedented value," said Nairn Foster, Managing Director of Warehouse. and Yard.
“We’ve always been laser-focused on attracting quality, decision-making buyers — and that won’t change. Our niche focus on warehouse and yard operations remains intact and undiluted.
What this new alignment offers is immediate proximity to a much wider, but still highly relevant audience — from 3PLs and freight forwarders to e-commerce and transport professionals — many of whom are actively investing in automation, site flow, fulfilment, and safety.
For our exhibitors, it means more meaningful conversations, more of the right buyers, and a unique chance to showcase their solutions in the context of the full logistics supply chain journey — in connected halls under one roof. It’s about expanding opportunity without compromising what makes our shows special.”
"Multimodal has built a trusted reputation over nearly two decades, and 2026 was a record-breaking year for us — welcoming over 13,500 visitors and hundreds of exhibitors," said Robert Jervis, Event Director at Clarion Events (organiser of Multimodal).
“There’s real energy and momentum behind what we do, and our focus has always been on delivering tangible value — not just footfall, but real outcomes for exhibitors and high-quality experiences for visitors.
This collaboration reflects that same ethos. By joining forces with Warehouse. and Yard., we’re giving our audience access to more solutions, more innovation, and a more complete view of the supply chain — all under one roof.”
"What makes this collaboration truly special is that it’s built on friendship, mutual respect, and shared values," said Justin Craig, CEO of Warehouse.
“The Multimodal and Warehouse. and Yard. teams have known each other for years — we trust each other, and we’re aligned in our commitment to delivering real value for exhibitors and visitors alike. It’s so inspiring to be part of a team that is creating something so important. That culture of collaboration and shared values is what makes
this partnership so exciting. Two independent companies collaborating to create something truly special.”
