Yannick Peton is EPG's new Country Manager in France

EPG Stand: D37

Yannick Peton joined EPG this year as Country Manager in France. Peton has many years of experience in sales, marketing and account management and has held various positions at Checkpoint Systems and IER, two internationally active RFID experts. EPG will benefit from this expertise and his excellent knowledge of the French market for further internationalization.

As Country Manager, Yannick Peton will place a special focus on the market-specific characteristics and the growth potential of the French logistics sector. The 46-year-old can also draw on good relationships with EPG's partners and customers, including CMA/CGM, Schneider Electrics and many others in supply chain. In his position, Peton is responsible for the strategic orientation of EPG as a leading international provider of a comprehensive supply chain execution suite (EPG ONE) from France. Named as challenger in the Gartner magic quadrant the Warehouse Management System LFS has been rolled out to more than 1.600 sites around the world and every day 600.000 people are using EPG solutions for logistics.

"The French logistics market is growing steadily, and the industry needs smart, reliable and agile solutions more than ever to optimize its processes," says Yannick Peton. "Because the lack of employees, for example, in the country's distribution centers and warehouses is a major problem. To meet the demands of customers, many temporary workers are still needed now. To train them again and again is not only time-consuming but also cost-intensive. For this challenge, we offer the optimal solution with the EPG ONE Supply Chain Execution Suite and especially with LYDIA Voice." LYDIA Voice is speaker-independent, which means that language training is not required. Employees can start working productively immediately. In addition, LYDIA Voice 9 is able to recognize multiple languages simultaneously, which is a key advantage for multinational teams. Complementing the technologically leading software, EPG also has the matching voice-optimized hardware. "Work must be easy and simple for the employees. We address this, for example, with our tried-and-tested picking waistcoat, the LYDIA VoiceWear. The ergonomic wearing system combines all the necessary components that are important for efficient voice processes: Loudspeaker and microphone as well as the mobile voice computer are already integrated into the waistcoat.

In addition to LYDIA Voice, Peton's activities also focus on the further marketing and implementation of the warehouse management system LFS and the intelligent routing algorithm Greenplan. Greenplan is the latest solution in the EPG portfolio and a powerful algorithm for route calculation and route planning. Greenplan is already demonstrably providing customers with efficiency increases of up to 20% compared to standard solutions.

In addition to further market development with EPG ONE, another focus is on building up a strong sales and project team for France. The new location in Paris offers the optimal starting point for this.

IWLEX Exhibitors say :

  • "We’ve never seen a show like it! Within six minutes of the inaugural IWLEX (Inside Warehouse & Logistics Exhibition) opening, we had our first inquiry in the bag. The two days in May at the Telford International Centre went on to be the most successful trade show we have attended in terms of deals created at the event itself and immediately afterward."
    Hi-Level Mezzanines Ltd
  • “We thoroughly enjoyed our time at IWLEX. It is a valuable exhibition for companies looking for the highest quality visitors. Visitor numbers may be lower than at other exhibitions, simply because the organisers have done a fantastic job in screening out time-wasters! Everyone who came onto our stand was a motivated buyer and we have had several high-quality leads since the exhibition. We recommend IWLEX to anyone looking for relevant leads within the world of warehousing and logistics. Thank you, Justin and Nairn!”
