Partner & Chief Operating Officer, Epscot Limited

Alan is currently a Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of Epscot Limited, a niche supply chain consultancy focused on the Healthcare sector. Epscot provides expert guidance to several ‘Blue Chip’ medical device and clinical consumable suppliers to interpret and execute on the Social Value requirements mandated by the UK government. Additionally, Epscot assists new entrants into the Healthcare sector by advising them on navigating the complex public procurement requirements. Epscot's expertise in the Healthcare sector and their comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory landscape make them an invaluable partner to their clients.

 

Formerly, Alan was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Supply Chain Coordination Limited (SCCL) where he was the architect of the new NHS Supply Chain; managed the service providers, associated commercial models, and led the transition ‘go live’ and operationalisation. His COO responsibilities also extended to being the Executive sponsor for Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Continuous Process Improvement and Health, Safety & Wellbeing. 

 

In total, he worked with the DHSC and health sector for around 20 years.
