Claire Charlton

Head of Innovation, Wincanton
Claire leads Wincanton's W2 Innovation Programme, responsible for identifying, testing, and implementing emerging technologies. Through the W2 Labs programme, she mentors start-ups to develop and commercialise their products as Wincanton propositions. She designed and runs their Innovation Centre, which has welcomed 6000+ visitors. The centre showcases interactive technology solutions and serves as a hub for customers, partners, colleagues, and community groups. Claire has 26 years of experience in logistics, covering transport, operations, business development, and solution design. She recently completed her MSc in Supply Chain Management and is a trustee at a Mental Health Hospital Museum in Bristol.
