David Sharp is a highly innovative and accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology strategy, architecture, programme management and product development. He has a strong track record in delivering successful commercial outcomes from ground-breaking technology developments and helps organisations to refresh their IT to algin with their business strategy. Most recently he has helped Ocado Group to create a novel automated warehousing system that is being rolled out to 60+ warehouses in 11+ countries, a self-driving, road-based, grocery delivery system, a forecasting system that enables Ocado to achieve industry-leading low levels of waste and a novel chat bot that saves the time of several members of staff. David is named as an inventor on 15+ patents across various domains including AI, ecommerce, robotics, automated warehousing, wireless positioning and wireless communications. He has worked as a trusted advisor to senior teams in retail, finance, property, telecoms, healthcare, media, legal, regulatory, and defence.
