Linda Whicker
Linda worked at University of Nottingham Business School, leading courses in supply chain management and quality management. Linda has extensive experience of manufacturing processes, having worked at Unilever for many years. For more than five years, she was seconded to the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus where she led courses in operations management, manufacturing strategy and supply chain management at undergraduate, postgraduate and executive level. Linda was Principal Investigator for a THYME funded project looking into the commercial viability of sustainable feedstocks for the production of pharmaceutical products (SUSTAIN). This research is partnered with University of York, Bio Development Centre and GSK. Her research history has focused on assessing supply chain time and cost in the food industry both in the UK and Malaysia. Also, the carbon and cost impact of Black Grass on UK Arable Farms. She is Programme Director for the Executive MBA at Hull University Business School.
